boots, booties, jackets and all...hello cold weather

I've been attracted to all things boy-ish, menswear, but with a fem twist. Watching a few Coco Chanel films will do that to a girl! Man she was beyond her times, brave, and wanted comfort yet class and femininity...in any case, here are a few goods new to the shop...xx

what we got coming to ya...

Yeah it has been AWHILE since a post, but in good reason, been working my tail off to get the shop inventory up and out...well since being on holiday for about 2 months helps in the 'lazy' department ;) Needless to say here are some of the good coming out within the week xx

I heart Istanbul

It's such a trip, just 24 hours ago I was in California sitting there with friends having food, conversation and great laughs in English, and voom within hours (although long hours when on a tight confined crammed space like a plane) I landed 9,000 miles later into Istanbul and bye bye English...I love it here. This place always carries a comfort for me, my other home on the other side of the world, and although sometimes it can be over stimulating, busy, crowded, traffic-y and my Turkish errr well lets say it can get me by, I still have love for this city, big time!!!! The people here are warm, although you can always find the occasional annoying effer, like any part of the world, there is tons of history, architecture, life here. Seriously an east meets west sorta town...Enough yammering, here are a few photos of what my day was about, mosques, Istanbul, eating, walking, getting lost, being out of my comfort zone and loving it!

Just wanted to share a few of the goodies to come in July, they'll be more to share soon! Another photo shoot lined up :) I may be traveling, but that doesn't mean I'm stopping the vintage from being shared with you all!!!

travel time! shop will be closed...

So I'll be off doing a lil traveling for the next 6 weeks, so the shop will be closed from June 15-July 29th. Expect to see a whole slew of goodies when I return though!!! Getting prepared now with photoshoots and a whole bunch of thrifting, so the second I land the shop will re-open...in the meanwhile I attached of few photos I'm drooling over and will hopefully see/visit/swim/sleep/eat at while over seas...wohooooo...life is going to be hard! ;)
